Tour It’s been over 6 months now since the Tour de France has ended and many of the riders have still not been paid for there participation in the 2007 Tour.

The Association of Professional Cyclists (CPA) wants the money paid as soon as possible. The CPA stated that “According to the UCI rules, the riders must have received their prize money no later than 90 days after the end of the Tour, at the very latest October 28, 2007.”

The money from the race organizers has been allegedly being held up because of the many doping cases that came with last years Tour. “The Tour de France is still waiting for the sentences for Vinokourov, Moreni, Mayo, Rasmussen and Sinkewitz,” the CPA said. “We have asked the UCI to step in and clear up this situation.”

There has been no official reply from Tour organizers giving a payout date as of yet.
